1. You pay for your own hosting and domains
Ki-Ki does not buy, renew, or manage hosting packages or domain names on your behalf. You remain the account holder and you pay providers directly. Ki-Ki can recommend options and walk you through the setup, or use temporary access that you grant, but the financial relationship stays between you and the provider.
2. You keep ownership of your accounts
Your registrar, hosting, email, Cloudflare, and any other tools stay in your name. If temporary access is needed, it is granted explicitly, used only for the work in scope, and can be removed by you at any time.
3. What project fees actually cover
Project fees cover the agreed design, layout, HTML and CSS work, Cloudflare configuration, fingerprinting setup where included, and any written guidance that has been promised. They do not cover third party subscription costs, plugin licences, hosting bills, or domain renewals.
4. Revisions and scope
Every project includes up to two rounds of revisions on the agreed pages and features. Further rounds or major changes in direction may require an additional fee that will be set out before extra work is done.
5. Your responsibility for content
You are responsible for the text, images, documents, and other material that you provide or publish. You confirm that you have the right to use it and that it is lawful. Ki-Ki is not liable for legal issues that arise from client supplied content.
6. Security scope and limits
Ki-Ki is responsible for the Cloudflare rules, Workers, and related configurations that it has written and applied as part of the project. Ki-Ki is not responsible for security issues caused by your hosting provider, software you install later, weak passwords, accounts you create, or changes made by other parties after handover.
7. No promises about rankings or traffic
Sites are built with structure, clarity, and honest metadata in mind. Ki-Ki does not guarantee search rankings, traffic volumes, enquiries, or commercial outcomes. Those things are affected by many factors outside the build itself.
8. Payment timing
Ki-Ki Base Build projects are invoiced in full before work starts, once scope is agreed in writing. Secure Build projects are invoiced fifty percent at the start and fifty percent on delivery of the agreed work, unless a different schedule is agreed in writing. Managed Protection is invoiced on a recurring basis as set out in the agreement for that service.
9. Timelines and communication
Delivery timelines depend on how quickly you provide content, approvals, and access where needed. Long gaps in communication or delays in sending material will push delivery dates back. If a project has been dormant for a prolonged period, a fresh timeline or adjusted scope may be agreed before work restarts.
10. Third party outages and limits
Ki-Ki is not liable for outages or faults caused by third party providers such as hosting companies, registrars, email providers, or Cloudflare itself. Reasonable help can be provided to understand what happened, but responsibility for those services remains with their operators.
11. Support and response times
Ki-Ki works on a flexible schedule rather than fixed office hours, and replies may be sent in the evenings or at weekends. There is no guaranteed response time or twenty four hour cover unless a separate support arrangement is agreed in writing. Urgent issues can be raised by email and will be prioritised ahead of non urgent requests when work is scheduled.
