Starter fingerprinting included
A basic fingerprinting setup so you can see repeat visitors, page interest, and rough organisation level where it is available.
This tier is designed for smaller organisations that want useful intelligence without a full security project. It focuses on a small number of important pages, such as contact routes, enquiry forms, or public sector offer pages.
What Starter fingerprinting can show
- Repeat visits from the same browser or device, even if the IP changes
- How many times key pages are viewed by a given visitor fingerprint
- Path information, for example which article or offer they keep returning to
- Country and network details, including ASN data where Cloudflare can resolve it
How you see it
Alerts are sent into a private channel so you can glance at activity without living in dashboards. For example:
- A visitor hits your public sector contracts page several times in a short period
- Traffic appears to come from a council ASN or other large body
- Someone clearly reads the same longform piece each time a story moves in public
Starter fingerprinting is intentionally limited. It is there to give you a feel for who is circling your organisation, not to build a surveillance empire.
