Ki-Ki

Web foundations for SMEs

You keep the cars safe. I make you look solid online.

For independent garages, MOT test centres and mobile mechanics who live off repeat customers and word of mouth. Ki-Ki takes you from a Facebook page and a mobile number to a simple setup that helps people trust you before they arrive.

No jargon, no long contracts. Just a proper domain, clean website, professional email and basic security set up so you can focus on the work under the bonnet.

Real first impression customers see a serious garage, not a side hustle
Calls, not clicks site is built to get the phone ringing
Safer by default Cloudflare in front, email spoofing locked down

If this sounds like you, you are my client

Facebook is your website
people message your page, scroll old photos and still ring up asking basic questions
Hard to find on Google
your regulars know you, but new people see chains and comparison sites first
Messy bookings
MOTs, tyres and services come in through calls, texts and DMs with no central point
Spam and scams every week
fake DVLA, fake suppliers, fake invoices and you never quite know which emails to trust
No time for web stuff
you finish the day covered in grease, not in the mood to learn about DNS and hosting

None of this means you run a bad garage. It means nobody has ever set your online shopfront up properly. That is my job.

Built for independent outfits, not dealer networks

  • Independent garages

General repair garages who handle servicing, diagnostics, clutches, brakes and everything in between. If most of your work comes from reputation and repeat customers, a solid website backs that up instead of holding it back.

  • MOT test centres

MOT stations that want a clear place online for prices, classes, waiting options and booking details, so you spend less time explaining the basics on the phone.

  • Mobile mechanics and tyre services

Mobile mechanics, battery services and tyre vans who want to look dependable and easy to book, not like a throwaway number on a marketplace listing.

What you actually get when you work with Ki-Ki

Proper domain and garage email

A domain in your name with straightforward addresses like [email protected], [email protected] or [email protected].

  • Looks more serious than Hotmail or Gmail
  • Easier for customers to remember and share
  • Ready for invoices, estimates and reminders

Clean garage website that answers real questions

A mobile first page that covers what people actually want to know. MOTs, services, tyres, diagnostics, prices where possible, opening hours, photos, reviews and how to book.

  • Built for phones, not big monitors
  • Click to call and WhatsApp options
  • Clear sections for MOT, service and repairs

Cloudflare protection as standard

Your site sits behind Cloudflare with basic firewall rules and HTTPS. Visitors see the padlock, cheap robots get filtered and casual probing has less impact on your setup.

  • HTTPS and padlock by default
  • Basic filtering for bots and noise
  • Less stress when scammers play around

Email hardening and spoofing guard rails

SPF, DKIM and DMARC configured properly so it is harder for scammers to pretend to be you, and easier for real messages to land where they should.

  • Less risk of fake invoices in your name
  • Better deliverability to your customers
  • Clearer audit trail of what was sent

Local visibility and reviews support

Help with getting your Google Business Profile in better shape, pointing reviews to a single place and making sure your address and hours line up across platforms.

  • Easier for people to find you on maps
  • Reviews are harder to ignore
  • Less confusion about opening times

Lightweight tracking and repeat visitor insight

Privacy aware analytics and passive fingerprint style data. You see how many people visit, what they look at and how often they come back, without turning your customers into ad targets.

  • Spot busy periods and quiet gaps
  • See which services get attention
  • Helps guide which offers to promote

How it looks in real life

Independent garage

Before

Old Facebook page, no proper website, opening hours buried in posts and awkward silences when people ask if there is somewhere they can read about prices or services.

After

smithgarage.co.uk on the sign, vans and invoices. A tidy page with MOT, servicing and diagnostics explained in plain English, a phone button that works on cheap phones and a map that gets people to the right unit.

MOT test centre

Before

People ring up just to ask the MOT price, you repeat the same details all day and last minute cancellations leave gaps that never get filled.

After

Clear MOT section with prices, classes, waiting options and simple wording about what to bring. People know what to expect before they book and calls are focused on actual slots, not basic questions.

Mobile mechanic

Before

Marketplace listings and scattered reviews, messages across three apps and no single link that really shows what you cover and where you travel to.

After

A focused one page site that lists call out area, common jobs, example prices and reviews. Customers share the link when friends ask for a recommendation and you look like a proper business, not a favour.

How it works

  1. Tell me what kind of garage you are

You send a short outline of what you do, where you are based, the main jobs you want more of and any photos or links you already have.

  2. I sketch a simple, honest setup

You get a proposed domain, layout and wording that matches how you actually talk to customers, plus a summary of the email and security work I will do behind the scenes.

  3. I build, wire and harden everything

Domain, website, email, Cloudflare and tracking are configured for you. You review the site on your phone and desktop, then request small tweaks if something feels off.

  4. You put it to work

You add the link and email to your sign, cards, social profiles and invoices. I stay available for light support, updates and sensible improvements.

Straightforward pricing that respects small garages

Pricing is agreed upfront and written in plain English. No surprise add ons, no marketing retainers and no anonymous agency that forgets your name after the direct debit is set up.

A typical build covers domain, website, email, Cloudflare and tracking as a one off project, with an optional small monthly amount if you want hosting, monitoring and light tweaks handled for you.

If you tell me roughly what work you do, how many bays or ramps you have and how busy you are now, I can give you a clear figure instead of a vague range.

Questions you might have

Do I need to understand any of the technical terms?

No. You already deal with enough complicated systems. You just need to know how to read and reply to email or messages. I handle domains, DNS, Cloudflare and the rest, and leave you with plain English notes.

What if I already have a basic website or booking tool?

That is fine. We can keep what is working, move it onto a proper domain and build a cleaner page around it so everything feels like one garage, not a bolt on.

Is this overkill if we are only a small garage?

If people trust you with their brakes, steering and family car, looking credible and being a bit safer online is not overkill. It is part of running a modern workshop.

Can you help with online booking or enquiry forms?

Yes. For some garages a simple contact form and clear phone buttons are enough. Others benefit from basic booking requests or MOT enquiry forms. We pick what fits your size and capacity.

What about security and scam protection?

Your setup will include HTTPS, Cloudflare in front and email hardening. This does not remove every scam, but it makes it harder for people to pretend to be you and gives you a cleaner baseline when something looks off.

Ready for a site that matches the standard of your work?

Send a short outline of what you do, where you are based and how people usually find you now. I will reply with a simple plan and a clear price, no pressure to commit.

Replies usually within 1 working day. No mailing lists. Straight answers, no hard sell.
