Accessible pricing for a fair start

If you are on a low income, benefits, a Blue Light Card, or rebuilding after a conviction and you are trying to get something real off the ground, the cost of a proper website should not be the final brick wall.

I am firm but fair. I will not waste my time or yours. If what you are building fits what Ki-Ki is good at, I can offer reduced pricing. If I am not the right person, I will say so early and plainly so you can look elsewhere.

I have been the person hoping that someone serious would reach an arm back. That is why this option exists, but it still has to work for both of us.

Eligibility in plain English

You can request accessible pricing if at least one of these applies and you are based in the UK.

Income and benefits

  • You earn under £1,500 per month after tax, or
  • You are on Universal Credit, or
  • You receive PIP, or
  • You receive another low income related benefit such as ESA, JSA, Income Support, Carer allowance, or Housing Benefit.

Situation and background

  • You hold a Blue Light Card, or
  • You are an ex offender trying to rebuild your income, reputation, or stability through self employment or a small business, or
  • You have had a rough run of work, health, or caring responsibilities and are trying to make a realistic start on your own terms.

I do not need your full life story. A short, honest outline is enough so I can see where this sits and whether I am the right fit.

Before you apply

Accessible pricing is available for suitable projects. It is not guaranteed for every idea or enquiry.

This is not about judging whether what you want to do is good or bad. Ki-Ki specialises in small, service based sites and risk aware setups, so I focus on projects that fit that model and that I can support properly.

If your project falls outside what I cover, I will tell you early and, where possible, point you toward alternatives so you do not waste time or money chasing the wrong solution with me.

I will always be straight with you. If I take a project on under accessible pricing, it is because I believe I can give you a clean foundation that actually helps you move forward, not just a cheap template to tick a box.

Please keep what you share at a high level. You do not need to send detailed medical information, diagnostic labels, or copies of benefit letters. A general outline of your situation is enough for this first contact.

What you get and what you still pay for

What you get

  • The same standards I use for full price clients, not a cut down version.
  • Simple, fast pages that explain what you do and how people can contact or book you.
  • Cloudflare at the edge and a static setup where that makes sense so you are not fighting slow hosting.
  • Basic email and DNS tidying so your messages have a fair chance of arriving where they should.

What you pay for

  • Reduced project fees. In most cases that means a significant discount on my usual rates, agreed in writing before we start.
  • Any direct costs such as your domain name, hosting, or paid inbox if you choose to use one.
  • Optional extras beyond a simple, focused site, if you choose to add them later.

I do not publish a fixed discount or percentage here because needs vary. The point is that if you qualify and I accept the project, I will price it in a way that is genuinely reachable for your situation, not theoretical.

Firm but fair boundaries

This option exists to give people a fair start, not to turn Ki-Ki into a bargain bin.

  • Limited slots. I only take on a small number of accessible pricing projects at a time so that existing clients do not suffer.
  • Light sites only. This route is for small, focused sites, not complex applications or large content builds.
  • No unlawful or harmful content. I will not provide infrastructure for anything illegal or clearly unsafe.
  • Honest fit check. If I cannot help, I will say so rather than drag things out.
  • Shared effort. I expect you to meet me halfway with basic information, decisions, and content. I handle the heavy technical lifting, not your whole business plan.

The goal is simple. I will not waste your time with polite noise, and I expect the same in return. If we work together, it is because there is a real chance that a solid website will help you move the needle on your situation.

Request accessible pricing

Use this form to outline what you are trying to build and why you think accessible pricing fits your situation. Keep it honest and straightforward. I read these myself.

Please do not include detailed medical information, long case histories, or scans of benefit paperwork. A simple outline is enough at this stage.

I aim to reply within 2 working days. If I can help, I will explain what that looks like in practice. If I am not the right fit, I will say so clearly so you can move on without guessing.

These messages are handled in line with the Ki-Ki privacy and data handling policies on the policies page. I keep data to a minimum and do not hold on to it longer than needed to decide whether we can work together.

If you would rather not use this form and prefer to send an encrypted message, you can contact me via the secure PGP page. Please mention that you are asking about accessible pricing and keep the rest of the detail as general as possible.
